Popplewell Cemetery

Glaize Township

Section 26, Township 39 North, Range 14 West

Miller County, MO.

Also called Glover’s Chapel Cemetery

From the junctions of highways 54 and 42 in Osage Beach take highway 42 toward Brumley.   Before you get into Brumley, there is a road on the right named the Swinging Bridges Road and you will turn right there.   Go until you cross the first swing bridge, Mill Creek, and continue over the second swinging bridge Grand Auglaize.   After you cross the second bridge go .7 mile to the second old trail on the right side of the road and stop the vehicle and park.  This cemetery is difficult to find.  You will have to walk about 2,700 feet, or about ˝ mile to the cemetery.

This cemetery is no longer in use.
